Description

Happy Samhain (Halloween) Everyone! :wizardhat: :pumpkin:
Let us not forget our past, and look forward to the future!

Thanks to a stimulating conversation with :iconcorsecagent: on his possible Salem T-shirt designs...
First August 13ths Possible Design continuing with August 14ths Possible Design it sparked an idea of mine own.

This Design: (which was voted on here among other places)
Bullet; BlackIs for me and my close friends, if I some day decide to produce this for others the hat and "Salem MA" yada yada-0 will be taken out to include a much wider audience base (any group terrirized by religious/ethnic/political persecution during the course of history); joined with the 'back' design for other final forms: tote bags, pull-over sweatshirts/hoodies, t-shirts, etc
Bullet; BlackWould be a 2 or 3 color silk-screen design, invertable so as to be on any color shirt (except red)
Extra info: (to answer comments most of you [those who voted] seem to focus on)
Bullet; Black The blood on the floor (Yes, I know it's not accurate) serves two functions. 1) It balances the red in "not" as well as the red on the back design and 2) symbolizes the lives ruined/lost that were NOT executed. Ie: Those who died in prison and one Giles Corey who was crushed to death in 'questioning' aka: refusal to plead (I'm pretty sure getting crushed to death by multiple boulders is rather bloody.)
Bullet; Black As for the shape of the blood on the floor I appologize if it looks weird to you but being limited to a vector-based image I needed to balance simplisity with clarity. I was aiming for a splatter, not a pool (however inaccurate that by be to the image) because the witch trials were a bloody "splat" on history. As for it's non-natural appreance I apologize but I did not duplicate or refect any paths so any pattern you see is coincidental. (Yes, I'm "old school" when I do a vector images. In illustrator I manually drop every anchor as I go; I know to those of you who do not use illustrator this won't mean much. Needless to say; every curve, every line, evey arch, I made by hand as if I was cutting it out with a digital exacto-knife.)
